Typical June weather ahead for North Texas

NBC Universal, Inc.

We have reached the point in the year where the forecast does not change much from day to day. North Texas will experience seasonal heat and humidity the next several days.

High temperatures will be in the mid 90s this week with a heat index of 100 to 103. Tuesday and Wednesday will be breezy with a south wind gusting over 20 mph.

There's a chance thunderstorms could return Wednesday evening, moving south out of Oklahoma. While widespread severe weather is not expected, a few storms could produce some gusty winds and hail before the storms weaken by late evening.
